What We Restore
Floors We Work With, Damage We Fix
Two simple lists – the floor materials we restore and the damage we fix. If your floor is on the left and the damage is on the right, we can almost certainly help.
- Limestone - honed, polished and tumbled finishes
- Marble - including period and heritage installations
- Travertine - filled and unfilled, hone and gloss
- Slate - riven, cleft and honed finishes
- Porcelain - including textured and rectified tile
- Ceramic tile - including grout repair and re-colouring
- Worn, dull or matt finish - full re-polish
- Etch marks from cleaners or acid spills
- Scratches and traffic-lane wear
- Cracked, broken or replaced tiles
- Lippage between tiles - diamond-ground flat
- Stained, discoloured or failing grout
Restoration vs Replacement
Why Restoring a Floor Beats Ripping It Out
A worn floor doesn’t need replacing – it needs grinding, polishing and sealing back to a brand-new finish. Here’s what that actually means.
60%
Saved vs replacement
Full floor restoration typically costs 40-60% of a new install. No new tiles, no skip, no removing fitted furniture and skirtings to lift the old floor.
2-5
Days for most floors
A typical hallway, kitchen or commercial lobby restoration completes in two to five working days. Larger floors scoped individually.

Frequently Asked
Stone & Tile Floor Questions
Yes - in almost every case. Dulled stone is one of the most common things we restore. We diamond-hone the surface back to a fresh layer of stone, polish it through progressively finer grits, then seal it to protect the new finish. The floor looks like it did the day it was laid.
Yes. We replace individual cracked or broken tiles, repair edges with colour-matched fill, and diamond-grind lippage flat across the surface so the floor sits true. Once we've polished the whole floor, the repaired areas blend in completely.
More than worktop work, but less than a full re-tile. We cordon off the work area, dust-sheet adjacent rooms and use M-class extraction to control dust. The work area itself is out of use for the duration; the rest of the property stays in normal use. Commercial sites scheduled around trading hours where required.
Stone and tile floor restoration is priced individually because the area, condition and material all vary. Send us a photo and the approximate floor size (m2) by form, WhatsApp or email and you'll have a written quote within 24 hours. Most restorations save 40-60% vs replacement.
